Pet Cremation Options

We offer a number of pet cremation Perth services depending on whether you would like to have your pet’s ashes returned to you or not. For an estimate of costs, please see our pricing page.

Individual Cremation

Guaranteed private cremation with 100% of your pet’s ashes, and only your pet’s ashes, returned to you at home. A standard urn is included, but we also have a range of premium urns to choose from.

Communal Cremation

Communal cremation, for when you do not want your pet’s ashes returned. A low cost, environmentally friendly solution. Ashes are scattered or buried at the pet cemetery in the Avon Valley.

Pet Burial

Pets, or their ashes, are buried in their own plot at the scenic pet cemetery in the Avon Valley. Owners can visit their pets year-round and make use of the parking and picnic facilities.

Premium Services

The turnaround time for our individual pet cremation service is approximately 7-10 days. However we also offer premium services if you would like your pet to recieve a priority cremation.

Platinum Service (+$400*): same day turnaround (not including Saturday or Sunday).
Gold Service (+$255*): three day turnaround (not including Saturday or Sunday).

Home Collection

If your pet has passed away at home of natural causes then we also offer a dignified home collection service. One of our caring staff members will collect your pet from your home and transport them carefully to the crematorium for cremation.

Our home collection service is available 7 days a week for all Perth metropolitan suburbs.

Home Collection Pricing:

Home collection only applies for pets that have passed away naturally at home. If your pet has an in-home euthanasia appointment with our mobile vet and you are having your pet cremated, our vet will transport your pet to the crematorium at no extra charge (however, normal cremation charges still apply).

Home collection following a natural passing:

Saturday: $200
Sunday: $240

Are pets individually cremated?

Most crematoriums offer private individual cremations. Pet owners can even view their pets remains being cremated through a viewing window at some crematoriums. However, most crematoriums also offer a second option called communal cremation. This is a lower cost, environmentally friendly way of disposing of pet remains. For communal cremation, ashes are not returned to the owner.

Is it better to cremate or bury a pet?

It comes down to personal preference as well as local council regulations. If you would prefer to have a visual reminder of your pet inside your house, cremation is probably a better option. Ashes returned in an urn or wooden box can be placed on the mantle for a visual memorial of your pet. When burying a pet in the yard, a visual reminder can be a tree or plant planted over the top of your pet’s burial site.

Is it weird to keep a pet’s ashes?
